Group Corporate Activity: when will TPR’s new powers apply – a practical guide to staying out of jail

ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
The Pensions Regulator has been given new powers in relation to policing corporate activity that may lead to adverse impacts on the security of accrued defined benefit pensions, including the threat of criminal sanctions in some cases. In this webinar, Burges Salmon director Crispin Freeman and Simon Taylor, partner at Barnett Waddingham, analyse a number of case-studies to consider when these new powers might apply. They also consider the steps that should be taken by employers, trustees and advisers involved to make sure they stay on the right side of the law.

Closed captions are available on Big Marker. To turn them on, please click on the ‘cc’ button in the bottom right corner of the webinar window and select a language.
