Recorded
Wednesday, October 23, 2024 · 12:00 p.m.
ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
In this webinar, we will cover a wide-ranging and broad discussion of several topics relevant to employers such as:
- Understanding the New Funding Code and its implications for employers
- Updates on return of surplus rules
- Insights on pension considerations in corporate transactions amidst increasing M&A activity, including the latest on TPR’s powers
Our expert speakers include Chris Brown (Partner) and Kelly Beattie (Senior Associate) from the Burges Salmon Pensions & Lifetime Savings team. Also, we are excited to announce special guest speaker Iain McLellan (Director, Isio) will be joining us.
Iain is a pensions actuary who, as well as advising a range of trustee and corporate clients, leads Isio’s Pensions Research and Development team. This includes considering the impact of developments in the industry, including new ideas and legislative changes, preparing consultation responses and engaging directly with regulators and policymakers.
We are interested to make the webinar as relevant as possible. Please submit any pensions questions you have emailing kelly.beattie@burges-salmon.com, and we will try to answer those we can in the webinar.
This session is designed for sponsors of DB pension schemes, but it will also be highly relevant to Trustees and anyone involved with DB pensions.
We look forward to your participation.
